House of decoration founded in 1922 by André Domin and Marcel Genèvrière. The furniture is very widely influenced by the cubism. The furniture of this house is of an indisputable elegance, often presenting sharp angles and very massive geometrical forms, but also, sometimes rounded forms, graceful curves with an ornamentation which remains tangible but discreet and sober. This furniture, where the balance is fundamental, is comfortable and realized in precious wood such as sycamore, palissandre, thuya, ebony of Macassar, of Rio etc....

When the decoration is present, it is composed of fine inlays of copper, tortoise shell, bone or light weight "baguettes" in bronze. Galuchat and parchement are also used.

From 1922, in the Autumn exhibition and in the Salon of the Artists Decorators, Dominique took place among the avant-gardists with its geometrical furniture evoking facets of prisms.

The house of Dominique declared to wish to liberate itself from styles of the past. It is also advisable to quote their participation in the construction sites of passenger ships, notably the Normandie.

This house continued its activity until 1970.
